Just a little reminder that the guy on the right standing next to Louis DeJoy, honoring a notorious homophobe during Pride Month, is Fred Ryan, chairman of the board of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute AND PUBLISHER OF THE WASHINGTON POST. pic.twitter.com/Ylcxj9tWna

THe artist managed to convey her true self – plastic, detached, unemotional and shallow.
They deserve a hearty round of applause.

So true. She wasn’t the president we needed at the start of this country’s downfall, but the behind-the-scenes leader we got since her hubby and overrated conservative icon, St. Raygun had already lost his mind into his first term.

I put the start of the downfall a lot earlier. Maybe back to that endorsement of genocide series of presidents. Maybe the cover up.

We don’t put living people on stamps, so I’m fine with a Melania commemorative.

Per the urtext (me), Nancy was Peggington’s nemeses. I’m sure she will have something veiled to say.

I could not help but note that the tweet came from Dan Froomkin, an early “internet only” IIRR columnist for the WaPo. He was pushed off his perch by WaPo management for, I believe, disparaging the paper’s histrionic opinion fossil, the inimitable Richard “We as a Nation” Cohen. I guess Dan still has some axes to grind over at his former employer. Amusing, I think.
