Let’s meet Florida representative Greg Steube, who used his time on Thursday to wave his dick, er, personal gun collection around while ranting about how the proposed laws would ban the specific firearms that he just happens to own. Weird, innit?
Republicans want us to believe Democrats want to make all guns illegal, and sadly, that is not the case. The issue is banning high-capacity magazines and changing the age of ownership. I’m sure Sig Sauer will manufacture appropriate magazines, unless of course they would prefer Steube to buy a new gun, and from the looks of him, he would chomp at the bit.
So sorry for the inconvenience, but maybe saving the lives of children might be more important than your personal gun collection, Mr. Representative.

Screw that. I want to make all guns illegal. This epidemic has gone far beyond any tiny half-measures to contain it. It needs to be pulled out by the root and handled with extreme prejudice.
