The GOP Central Committee
Guys, the Republicans haz a sad that the Blue Dogs are losing their races:
Republican Rep. Don Bacon is lamenting the loss of moderate House Democrats who have been defeated by primary challengers on their left.
What he’s saying: “With the loss of Schrader, Bourdeaux, Lamb … and the much more progressive candidate winning in Doyle’s seat will make it tougher for consensus builders to carry the day in the House. It appears the Democrat Conference will have less centrists,” Bacon told POLITICO.
“Without the Blue Dogs running cover for us, people will see us for the child-killing, back-stabbing savages and monsters we are,” Bacon did not add.
Uhh, he knows we can see him and how the rest of his party votes, doesn’t he???

This actually sounds like bad news for John McCain.

What’s that you say? Consensus Builders? I don’t know about that.

Perhaps, and I’m just spitballing here, the REPUBLICANS could elect a few moderates if they are SO CONCERNED about consensus building.

Problem is of course, that a moderate psychopath is still a psychopath. Worse, we’ve learned that they only move a step toward the centre after taking 6 more steps to the right.
All in the name of compromise, don’t you know.

It’s fun sometimes to wander into balloon-juice and see some of the more moderate people in the comments section get angry if any of those blue dog dems are criticized.

So hard to follow what Repugs are saying when you’re distracted by the chess piece crumbs stuck between their teeth.
