Report: Why GOP Won’t Do Anything About Domestic Tuckerism, er, Terrorism

Republicans grooming the next generation of domestic terrorists?
H/T friend of the blog

The dead kids and dead teachers in Uvalde were failed at every level: from Texas Senators to Governor Gregg Abbott to the local police, and we should call out every attempt to distract from that responsibility and name and shame the bad faith actors.

Maybe it’s Fox News, Stupid?

Or maybe it’s just being paid off by the gun lobby itself:

(Undated file photo) New Confederacy Leader Mitch McConnell only had a few chins

Or maybe it is amply be-chinned Mitch McConnell who always finds a way to block gun legislation? And who has proudly used blocking gun legislation on his re-election campaigns? Or the millions of Ameros he’s received from the NRA?

’Tis a mystery.

UPDATE 1: The use of “recess” is not good messaging, guys:

UPDATE 2: “Look Ma, no ID” –

The information in this post is stuff the public needs to understand. But the last short video with the 13 year old blew my mind. I hope everyone will watch that video and share it as TG has in this post. This is the twisted reality we are living in. No thinking person can justify this. Yet craven politicians legally bribed to allow it and ignore it for business profits somehow do. Hugs

Can we get a roll call of what families those photos depict? I think I recognize the lower left as boobs-a-lot from Nevada, but the upper right gets extra points for also desecrating the flag.

Methinks the Zodiac Killer projects too much. Guns were politicized by republicans years ago. bubba. Mass shootings definitely do not entitle them to a frigging grace period. Also, answer the GD question, you coward.

    PS: Awesome post TG.

IT HAS BEGUN. The focus of the massacre is being steered away from necessary gun control to a failure of the local police department. Republicans will naturally focus on training issues but not on the ability of an 18-year-old to have access to battlefield weapons. The Uvalde cops will be the fall guys for everything. Watch.

    • Sadly I think you’re right; though the Uvalde PD fully deserves whatever they get and more. They were standing around and claim they thought that all the kids were dead while 911 calls from scared kids were still coming in!

I don’t think you would find a jury in the world that would convict these parents for lynching the entire PD.

There has been a side trip into “let’s arm the teachers” but it was just Newt, so.

Uvalde resident Vice President John Nance “Cactus Jack” Garner quote update: “The Uvalde P.D. ain’t worth a bucket of warm piss.”
