(Narrator: it, in fact, did not need MOAR tallywhacker.)

Perhaps Mr. Corley also ghostwrote “Return of the Wildcat.” In any event, I just had to Google the author’s name. Check out https://www.carlcorley.com/ if you’re interested in the cultural ramifications of “Gay Pulp in the Deep South,” not to mention “Twenty-one pulp novels and one religious text, free to read online.”

I think we know that “the Deep South” is no more accepting of LGBT-etc. folks now than it was when he was born in 1921. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Corley. The man lived to 94 and had a rather remarkable, shall we say, eclectic life. I wonder what he would have thought of Murrica today.

DarkMAGA is what they are. Watching the Democratic party insisting that you can reason with these people by addressing their concerns reminds me of German Jews responding to Nazis in the 30s. Ds have been trying to reason with these people by adressing their concerns for decades. It hasn’t worked. It doesn’t work. And those Ds are starting to look like the collaborationists who were playing along for their own purposes.

There’s going to be a point where it will be too late to stop DarkMAGA. That point isn’t too far away.
