Pandemic News: We Are A Stupid People

Science discovers how the Trump-Virus spreads
(H/T: Twitter)

Guys, Axios tells us that many Americans believe (not gonna say “think” because, well, Americans) that the Trump-Virus is ov-ah (emphasis and enigmatic bullet usage is totally theirs):

One in three Americans now says the pandemic is over — despite rising cases and hospitalizations — Axios managing editor Margaret Talev writes from a new installment of the Axios/Ipsos Coronavirus Index.

  • 31% of respondents said they believe the pandemic is over; 69% disagree.

Look at this political split: 59% of Republicans say it’s over, compared to just 27% of independents and 10% of Democrats.

  • 55% of unvaccinated Americans said it’s over, compared to just 22% of vaccinated people.

As much as we’re all tired of this, we still need to be careful. The CDC warns that an additional 100,000,000 new cases will occur by this coming fall and winter. Not sure how many folks will die, but the total could pass a million. Oh, the link…

R messaging – let them die, and decrease the surplus population.

Again and again, why isn’t anyone saying that through their politicization of COVID and the vaccines, tens if not hundreds of thousands of people, most of them old or vulnerable, are now dead? That tens,, if not hundreds of thousands are crippled with Long COVID? And isn’t the first function of government protecting the governed? They refuse to do even that, to pwn the libs. We’ll, I’m pwned, guilty as charged. And they are unfit to be dog catcher, every one of them.

    Attack them.

I was at Costco yesterday, getting new shoes installed on my car. While I waited, I went into the main warehouse. I could count on one hand the number of people I saw wearing masks, myself being one of the five fingers on a hand. It was a busy, crowded store on a Tuesday afternoon. That just shocked me. People were gadding about as if it were 2019. Taking and scarfing down the salty-fatty-sugary samples on offer. I ran into a fellow I know from walking on local trails. “You still wearing a mask??! Aren’t you vaccinated?” Why, yes, I am. “And had the boosters?” Why, yes I have. Both of them. You have a problem with masks? He didn’t respond to that.

As you say, TG, we are so fcked.
