RoJo Tells Women To Take A Road Trip To Illinois, No Big Deal

“And my fifth point…”

Sen. Ron Johnson, says that getting rid of Roe is a small inconvenience:

Sen. Ron Johnson (R., Wis.), who is up for re-election, said he expected abortion would be a nonissue in his campaign. He said he isn’t sure that a 19th century law in his state that bans abortions except to save the life of the mother will actually go into effect if Roe falls, and that in any event people will still have options.

“It might be a little messy for some people, but abortion is not going away,” he said, saying that driving across state lines to Illinois would likely be an option. “I just don’t think this is going to be the big political issue everybody thinks it is, because it’s not going to be that big a change.”

RoJo, who is noted for being the dumbest man in the Senate (and that is quite a competition I assure you), is unaware that not all people can just drive to Illinois. I’m just spitballing here, but you know, not everyone has the resources and support to drop everything for a road trip.

Here in Illinois, abortion providers are expecting an increase of 20,000 to 30,000 patients a YEAR. It’s not just Wisconsin. We’re an island of sanity surrounded by right-wing nutjobs who will use that island when they need to take care of it for their mistresses. Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, etc… Thank God for our Democratic governor and super majority legislature.

Yes, republicans are consistent. While RoJo attempts to calm the skirts, his minions are feverishly working on legislation that would make it illegal to cross state lines to get an abortion. Even adding bounties for the citizens to turn on each other.

How do you say “let them eat cake”, without using the words “let them eat cake”.

“Abortion is the murder of an innocent, vulnerable victim by selfish feminists. And if one state thinks that’s OK then NBD.”

    • Also Republicans “The murder of twenty innocent post-fetal children is the unavoidable result of Freedom to own murder sticks. And if one state thinks that’s not ok, we must do everything in our power to overturn that.”

sure it’s gonna be ‘no big deal’ for him since civil rights (like public health) are certainly ‘no big deal’ for him but he thinks he knows and can speak for the voters who (hopefully PLEASE!!!!) line up to kick his sorry ass to the curb.
