Joe Manchin: “It’s all about me, Me, ME!”

And the Traitor Joe Lieberman Award for excellence in back-stabbing goes to…

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., appeared in a Republican primary ad defending Rep. David McKinley, R-W.Va., from accusations that he supported President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda.

“I have always said, if I can’t go home and explain it, I can’t vote for it, and that’s why I opposed Build Back Better,” Manchin said in a 30-second spot this weekend.

Manchin went on to defend McKinley against a claim from his Republican opponent, Alex Mooney, who accused McKinley of effectively supporting Build Back Better by voting for the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.

He’s campaigning for a Republican by stabbing President Handsome Joe Biden and the Democrats in general, and the BBB in particular. One might wonder why he is not campaigning for the Democrat in the race?

What a shitweasel.

  4. One important note left out is that Manchin’s defense ad (of McKinley) is to expose the TFG-backed candidate (Mooney) as a liar for saying that McKinley backed Biden’s plan.
I’m not saying he’s due a medal for tossing the Build Back Better plan under the bus, nothing like that but, we desperately need to exorcize/flame-throw the TFG-owned dipshits and keep them from holding office.

Remember the words of Maya Angelou, and don’t blame the dog for barking.

Unfortunately, if we actually drive him into the arms of the Republicans, Mitch McConnell is back in charge of the Senate. That has screwed us up plenty, but I can’t believe there is a Democrat alive that doesn’t know that Manchin is a corrupt crook just like every Republican in the Senate. It is not Manchin, but a half century of Democrats rolling over while Republicans stacked the electoral deck so a third of the voters have a majority in both houses of Congress, that has brought us to this place. Compound that with the same rolling over in regard to Republicans putting corrupt hacks on the Supreme Court, and we have what we have today- a country an inch away from dictatorship, and still hardly a sign that a single Democratic leader is willing to do what it obviously will take to pull even themselves out of the quicksand.
