    Putin consulted with a fortune teller. The fortune teller predicted that Putin would die on a Ukrainian holiday. Putin asks: “Which one?” To which the fortune teller responded, “Whenever you die it will be a Ukrainian holiday!”

      That is in Herodotus. I cant remember who the antagonists were, but one of them sent an embassy to Delphi to ask the Oracle about the war. You Will Destroy A Great Kingdom. Encouraged by this result, they went to war. This happened about 2000+ years before I was born, so the details are a little fuzzy.
