The Stupid Coup, Part Infinity

Maybe we should add Traitor to a Senator’s ID? Anyway, Sen. Mike Lee (R/T UT) is the latest to be revealed as working to overthrow the gubmint for Hair Füror on Jan. 6 and before:

Washington (CNN)In the weeks between the 2020 election and the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, almost 100 text messages from two staunch GOP allies of then-President Donald Trump reveal an aggressive attempt to lobby, encourage and eventually warn the White House over its efforts to overturn the election, according to messages obtained by the House select committee and reviewed by CNN.

The texts, which have not been previously reported, were sent by Republican Sen. Mike Lee of Utah and GOP Rep. Chip Roy of Texas to then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. The text exchanges show that both members of Congress initially supported legal challenges to the election but ultimately came to sour on the effort and the tactics deployed by Trump and his team.

It’s a sort of convoluted report going back and forth between the two republicans and Lucky #4 Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. The first set of messages came from Rep. Chip Roy, who begged and mewled with Meadows for some hard evidence of voting fraud, and then backed off when it was clear no evidence was forthcoming. The second set came from Lee, who begged and mewled with Meadows for some hard evidence of voting fraud, and then went all-in on Stop the Steal, even once it was clear there was no hard evidence to be had.

It’s hard to swallow that a nutter representative from Texas (America’s Lab for Bad Policy) is more sane than a nutter senator from Utah, but there we have it.

So essentially, Mike Lee,  a sitting U.S. Senator, with no evidence whatsoever, works behind the scenes to overturn a United States presidential election, and thus to overturn the will of the American people. He eventually gave up when there was no cover for him, but the report is shocking in the extreme.

Utah: you got a problem.

Well, as a matter of fact modern day christians or politicians pretending to be christians will not be held to account for swearing an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Even though there is a commandment directing them to not to bear false witness…

Usually, the most shocking retweets are made by republican traitors. Coincidence? I think not.

We have a big problem in Utah. This conman has involved himself with almost every aspect of life in our state. He takes advantage of all of our weaknesses.
