Wow. That was impressive and impassioned as well as having the benefit of being true. I grew up as a straight guy, but over my working years as a medical researcher, I worked with more than a few gays, and the speech by Ian Mack totally comports with their experiences and stories. It shouldn’t have to be this way, but I’ve known enough bigots (particularly in the Marine Corps, and elsewhere too) to know ignorance and stupidity are (at the very least) a part of the human condition…
