Texas: America’s Lab For Bad Policy

Would-be 2024 Goat Rodeo candidate and Texas gubnor Gregg Abbott implemented a new (bad) policy, which requires state inspections of commercial vehicles entering from Mexico, to stir-up the racists after President Handsome Joe Biden’s administration moved to end a 4th-Reich-era ban on asylum-seekers at the southern border. Pee-Wee Himmler has a sad.

The order left miles long lines of trucks stalled at the border, delaying manufacturing and holding up shipments of fresh produce, er, not-so-fresh produce.

Local Commentary:

Abbott blamed the Biden administration for the delays he created. As one does.

Abbott has also followed through on his publicity stunt, sending a busful (Is too a wurd) of migrants and dropped off his trafficked human cargo right outside Fox News’ DC office.

I see Abbott doesn’t believe in small government as some of his kind do. A (not so) Brilliant idea to put another roadblock on the US Mexican border. I hope his people love their lettuce wilted and their tomatoes mushy.
I understand this is Texas, I just can’t understand why their voters go for these nitwits. I read that he even encouraged the power companies to bill the citizens for that power out at inflated prices.
A real man of the people here.
Whatever happened to being run out of town on a rail?

The article I read a couple of days ago claimed that these trucks weren’t allowed through to the border until a federal agency had inspected them.
The trained trolls on that site jumped right through the comment troops with several variations on “if Texas could trust the feds to do it right they wouldn’t have to do this extra searching. It’s Brandon’s [sic] fault, if he hadn’t stolen the election Texas wouldn’t have to do this.”
I like this guy’s TikTokTake – as a native Texan he has some authority over the analysis that I will never have since it is happening on the Texas border.
