One Lump of Stupid or Two, Marsha?

I understand that she’s dumb even when sober:

“…and Mississippi will pay for it!”

To be fair… no, screw that. I have no intention of being fair to this twit. She’s dumber than a box of gravel.

As a resident of KS, I’d prefer they wall all around TN.
DH says they can wall the entire confederacy.

Speaking of walls on southern borders; Abbott has effectively shut down all truck traffic entering from Mexico, every single truck must now be inspected by state officials – produce destined for points all over the country likely to rot – this is very fucked up.

And then he’ll blame Handsome Joe for the supply chain issues he caused. Classic Trumplican behavior: cause a problem, then blame others for the problem they caused, all for the sake of politics (the average persons that are affected be damned).

Exactly, aggravate supply chain, aggravate inflation, etc. A TFG-level of destructive and divisive chaos.

I read something about this just this morning.
Allegedly, it’s all Biden’s fault because the Feds inspected those trucks already, so Texas has to check their work because Biden’s admin is set to call off Title 42 (is that right? It’s the one that restricts travel into the U.S. due to fear of disease, i.e.: the pandemic) in May so there might be more illegal immigrants hiding amongst the freight for some reason…
So, yeah, all Biden’s fault, and how dare the feds suggest that Texas knock it off.
Currently (or as of sometime this A.M., I think) there is a protest blockade of truckers on the Mexican side of the border. That will be “fun” to watch the GQP loudly protest such behavior.

Is that true? If it is, we should obey his edict right down to the letter.
This Governor Abbott is getting a little above himself.
Don’t Mess With Texas, they like to say. Ok, we won’t. We never liked your attitude anyway. You texans are bunch of crybabies. We always will be friends with Lady Bird Johnson and her husband. But now that you have decided to forget yourselves, i don’t see why we have to listen to your governor.
Also, your sombreros look stupid. You are supposed to participate. Are you going to
go with these Republicans, are you going to secede and
become Republic of Texas? You better tell us right now, because we don’t have time for this bullshit.

Since when do governors have the authority to interfere with international trade? I thought we had a war about the limits of states’ rights.

I don’t know about you all.
If a tornado would strike, or if we had a flash food, i would ask the government for help. I would ask for help. This is why i paid taxes. About 20% for years and years.
I don’t regret it . No way can i trust the government to understand the local conditions, but when they made me Pledge Allegiance to the Flag, i took that seriously.
Anyway, i don’t like the flags so much, anymore.
