Well, we found the first Republican who is tightly cleaving to Rick Scott’s 11-point plan. Let’s meet Ohio’s would-be US Senator Mike Gibbons!
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Mike Gibbons, a leading Republican Senate candidate from Ohio, said at a media event last fall that middle-class Americans don’t pay “any kind of a fair share” of income taxes.
“The top 20% of earners in the United States pay 82% of federal income tax — and, if you do the math, and 45% to 50% don’t pay any income tax, you can see the middle class is not really paying any kind of a fair share, depending on how you want to define it,” Gibbons said.
Yeah, he’d be fine with raising your taxes (and probably cutting the taxes of the billionaires) you know, so you’d have some skin in the game, as Sen. Scott says.
OK, Ohio, explain yourselves.
“Depending on how you want to define it”. Yes, Rethugs do love to redefine things
The top 20% make about 80% of the income and hold about 90% of the wealth and at the current tax rates those numbers are still increasing at a rapid rate. Taxes are NOT hurting the wealthy, only hurting their greed. If you want to be a real PATRIOT, pay your damn taxes.

Also that “top 20%” has the greatest variation of any of the quintiles, becasue while 0-80% looks like awlow doward slop that runs int a cliff: https://sgp.fas.org/crs/misc/R44705.pdf

He’s tellling the vast majority of Americans they dont pay enough….while the top .01% keeps skimming most of the wealth off the top.

If we increase the size of the middle class, the middle class will pay more. Problem solved.

Am I the only one who is concerned that you cannot deduct clothing as a business expense for the nude psychic readings?
