The previous iterations included that Thirteenth Amendment that just needed some legal reason to incarcerate a certain subset of the population, and that worked pretty well at reviving slavery in a different costume.
The coming iterations are anti-abortion, as a disguise for the anti-woman and anti-appropriate-health-care. After all, if you can frame this as murder, how far do you have to go to consider a diseased kidney – living tissue – as being deserving of consideration. Or is that going too far?
