About Yesterday…

Day 2: Republicans continued to turn Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearings into a QAnon masterclass from the master race.

When Ayatollah Ted finished his stunt…

Senatorette Lindsey Graham must be working on some fanfic —or day I suggest slashfic?!— and wants to know what it would be like to be that dreamy Justice Beer Bong:

Tom Tillis was probably high:

Shorter Ben Sasse: everyone I work with is a fame slut for Fox News. The longer version:

And that’s all you really need to know about yesterday’s hearing: it was a festival of soundbites for Fox News, and by the way, it worked:

But there was this moment of grace from Corey Booker:

And we’ll leave it there on a positive note.

I’m wondering what your average republican black friend (NOTE: Singular.) has to say about this kind of behavior.

I saw excerpts of Cruz and Graham badgering Jackson. It was genuinely hard for me to decide which of them was the more sickening. Their utter discourtesy was stunning. If I was chair of the committee I would have thrown their asses out for continuing breach of parliamentary rules. They were disgraceful.

I’m thinking What’s-Her-Face from Alaska will vote for Judge Jackson. What’s-Her-Face from Maine will vote NO but be very sorry and pitiful.
