Hair Füror’s latest grift —Truth Social which is billed as being Twitter without moderation— was supposed to go live today, and, uh, something went wrong:
Donald Trump’s new social media app Truth Social encountered technical difficulties shortly after launching to the public on Sunday evening, according to its official website.
At 11:24 p.m. ET on Sunday, an update was posted on Truth Social’s website saying an issue was under investigation.
At 7:15 a.m. ET on Monday, the status page on the website showed the new app had been experiencing a “partial outage” for 7 hours 40 minutes.
Text on the status page said: “The Truth Social application is online, although user creation is currently rate-limited during our rollout. We will expand capacity over the coming hours to enable more users to join Truth Social.”
“Keep sending us yer monies in small, unmarked, non-sequential bills,” the statement did not read (after editing, we’re pretty sure).

Ex-prznint Stupid couldn’t organize a one-car funeral procession, so thinking he could run a complex social media site is uncannily prone to disaster.
and remember, his marks are conned into paying $5 Ameros a week for this thing.

According to Snopes the $5/week thing is false. It was actually some other con artist trying to get would-be “Truth” members to pay them $5/week for nothing.
Needless to say, the Grifter in Chief was displeased that someone else was making hay on his grift.

Memories of the Fail Whale bubble back up from the distant past, but that was when this ‘microblogging’ shit was in it’s infancy.
Wonder how Jason ‘Full Dirty Sanchez’ Miller is feeling right about now with Gettr. The Big Guy who he’s been sucking up to for years , just went out and curbstomped his brand.

And everyone who flees the “socialist left” Twitter, Facebook, etc. for these “safe havens” inevitably come crawling back, because (among other reasons) there are no libs to own on those sites. After all, a virus will eventually die when there are no more healthy cells to destroy in its host.

Lawsuit being considered by a company that makes “solar mats” meant to provide mobile power for battery operated tools.
The “Truth” (ptui!) logo is a nearly identical copy of their logo – the only difference appears to be an added green square. Am I to guess that the green square represents “insert money here”?
