Credit Suisse Bank, Allegedly Does Not Have Trump For Client, Yet

H/T @NamelessCynic

It seems that every world-class crook has an account at Credit Suisse Bank, at least according to a leak at the extremely private bank:

[C]redit Suisse once again finds itself at the epicenter of another scandal after confidential information from more than 18,000 of its accounts were leaked, the largest ever for a major Swiss bank…

…Anti-corruption advocacy group Transparency International said the leaked documents confirmed Credit Suisse had offered banking services for years to high-risk clients despite significant red flags even after it pledged to crack down on shady money.

[Insert here a squeal from Merde-a-Lardo that only bats and certain dogs can hear.]

“The Suisse Secrets investigations prove once again that banks cannot be trusted to police themselves,” said Maíra Martini, anti-money laundering expert for the NGO, in a statement.

Swiss regulator FINMA declined to comment on specifics, but confirmed it had been in contact with the bank in regards to the data leak, and said the fight against money laundering was a core pillar of its oversight duties.

…and then the article goes on to list several scandals involving world-class assholes. Oddly the Trump Crime Family is not listed. Yet.

  1. Oddly the Trump Crime Family is not listed.

Not, really surprising, since Credit Suisse only caters to legitimately rich people (note, not rich legitimate people, just folks who can actually show them that they actually are rich.)

  2. Does not trusting commercial banks mean the Candycorn Skidmark will get deeper in debt to the Russian Mob?
