  1. Amazing. Just like our house cats they all want to be against the human. Talk about bed warmers. I would hate to be the one to startle those sleepers.

Amazing is the word that instantly came to mind for me too. Sooooooooooo like the cat that picked me, who loves it when he can lie up against my torso like that!

  2. He’s larger than a cheetah’s typical prey, and if they’ve accepted him as just a weird looking cheetah, (which it certainly appears to have happened), he’s safe.

I still wouldn’t want to wake up with an offering from one of these kitties, next to me on the pillow.

      • When I had my first hip surgery, when I got home I had to stay in bed. I woke up the first night to my wonderful rescue cat trying to push a mouthful of his dry food into my mouth. I declined. Next thing I know I wake back up and he is forcefully trying to stuff a live lizard into my mouth. He was very insistent. He was going to feed me one way or the other. I wish I had taken the dry food when first offered. My husband was no help, he was laughing too hard to help and I am not sure he wouldn’t have encouraged the cat.

What an incredible relationship this is. I so love that this can be…if only for this one person.
I’m always amazed by the similarity of behaviour between domestic & ‘big’ cats.
