K-Mac Looks For Help, Finds Noot

“Hey, Calli, Li’L Noot needs some luvin’!”

Newticles, the disgraced staff-banging, serial adulterer former Republican Speaker of the House is back, baby, and bigger than ever:

Newt Gingrich, whose “Contract with America” in 1994 is linked with the GOP takeover of Congress in that midterm cycle, said he has been advising House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) on a set of policy items for Republicans to take to voters ahead of the November elections. House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (La.) and other members of House Republican leadership are also involved in the project, which is not expected to launch until the spring or summer.

And they say that there are no second acts in American politics! I hope Calista has him on a short leash.

Now, one can read that as a second act or more accurately one can read that as K-Mac is completely feckless and is not good at his job. It isn’t like the blueprint from the Contract on America is a mystery, just that K-Mac has no idea how to position or legislate anything.

Anyway here is what Noot came up with that eluded hapless K-Mac:

Republicans are expected to focus their new platform on education policies aimed at tapping into parental discontent; countering the rise of China with new economic measures; and “oversight” of the Biden administration. They are also looking at invoking other traditional GOP goals such as cutting taxes, restricting immigration, criticizing Silicon Valley and repealing environmental rules.

Honest-to-Dawg, all he had to do is just look at some headlines, but can anyone picture K-Mac reading?

“Criticizing Silicon Valley” is “Traditional”??? Don’t traditions take longer than [checks notes] a year and ten days to establish?

Since these are ‘policy pledges’ this doesn’t replace their 2016 platform, right?? Regardless, at least we now know what republicans are for. They are for obstructionism and cutting taxes. Same oh, same oh. Deductive reasoning tells us that if they are for being against everything, they are for nothing.
