A question all of Georgeduh is asking?
“We tried to tell y’all.” – Ancient African-American proverb
This is what Jim Crow 2.0 looks like:
(CNN)Election officials in a rural Georgia county are weighing plans to close all but one polling place ahead of this year’s elections, alarming local voting and civil rights groups…
…”What’s happening in Georgia with the dismantling of these county election boards is an extreme example of the national trend in Republican-controlled states to undermine local election officials,” said Jonathan Diaz, senior legal counsel for voting rights at the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center, which advocates for broad access to the ballot.
But just wait until Jethro and Jethrine wait in the hot Georgeduh sun all day to vote. There’s that.
I’d like to take this story print it out in large bold type, then staple the whole thing to Sinema’s forehead.
“This IS the the symptom that’s going to kill democracy, you twat. Curing diseases does not mean NOT TREATING THE SYMPTOMS!”
But she’s too much of a narcissist to listen to me, a mere constituent…

Yeah, do it. They need to know what we expect from them, and how they appear when they continue to ignore us. I sent one to KS Sen. Moran Tuesday after his newsletter utilizing MLK’s name and the word honoring in the primary headline. It won’t do a lick of good, but he’ll know that we can see what they’re doing.

The revolution they get will not be the one they were expecting.

As long as it hurts Black folks and liberals first and worst, that’s a deal Jethro and Jethrine will make with the devil any day.

That is ALL they care about. Most of them don’t vote anyway.

One of the “strengths” of Trump was bringing new voters to the elections. Without him on the ballot it will be interesting to see whether these folks continue voting… especially, when voting stops mattering a whole lot due to the GOP’s suppression and nullification laws.
