Mr. Bumble Is Right Again

H/T Dennis Cole

The Hill tells us

The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a request to block a federal mask mandate for air travel.

The emergency application was filed by a father on behalf of himself and his 4-year-old autistic son, both of whom claim to be medically incapable of wearing masks for extended periods.

Their request was filed to Justice Neil Gorsuch, who handles emergency applications arising in several western states, and he referred the matter to the full court. The justices denied the request without comment or noted dissent.

It seems like more schizophrenia from the SCOTUS as they noted that the Trump-Virus is not subject to an OSHA vaccine mandate for the workplace (because you could catch the Trump-Virus anywhere), but is mandated for hospital workers, and now airlines can mandate masks.

And that proves that the real issue for the conservative majority is that they don’t want OSHA regulating the workplace. But you know, they travel on planes.

The law is an ass, as Mr. Bumble noted.

It’s like they’re playing checkers on a 3-dimensional chessboard. The three dimensions containing; fealty, hypocrisy & the stupid among other interchangeable parts.

  2. Well Gorsuch IS the one who questioned why OSHA (created in 1971) didn’t mandate the Polio vaccine (in 1953).

Apropos from YellowDogGranny’s new joint ( http://westbygoddesstexas.blogspot.com after a tussle with a troll caused her old site provider to shut her down ) Hope this gawdawful nasty URL works!
