Hey Republicans: The Death Threats Are Coming From Inside Your House

Both Sides Don’t

Banana Republicans Worship Hair Füror

This is kinda chilling:

Reuters has documented more than 850 threatening and hostile messages aimed at election officials and staff related to the 2020 election. Virtually all expressed support for former President Donald Trump or echoed his debunked contention that the election was stolen. The messages spanned 30 jurisdictions in 16 states. They came via emails, voicemails, texts, letters and Internet posts…

Reuters obtained the messages through public records requests, interviews, and an examination of hundreds of online posts. Reporters focused on gathering examples from states that were among the most hotly contested in the 2020 presidential race. The case set isn’t a statistically representative sample, but it offers insights into the nature of this campaign of fear.

It’s a multimedia presentation, and you should go see it. You should invite your Facebook Rage Uncle to see it, too, and maybe any other Republican in your life. It might open some eyes: only one side is threatening to kill people for the greater glory of Hair Füror.

If the Fascists were only threatening to kill each other, well, that’s a win-win for us, but these dopes, mopes, and paste-eating mouth-breathers are going after anyone in their way.   There’s going to be damage.

I would like to maintain hope that we can reverse course and maintain our damaged, imperfect, democratic republic, however I expect that the best we are going to accomplish is postponing the inevitable. Fifty years of cultivated misinformation and intentional sabotage of our education system by Murcan Fascists has primed the infotainment dulled masses for civil conflict and institutional collapse. It is not something that is just going to happen, they want it.

  2. Sarah Palin syndrome on ‘roids … it too shall pass. These people are mental midgets and can be easily led. All we need is someone to lead them away … -or a big fat, juicy and catastrophic heart attack. We need a candidtate that can not only appeal to both sides but is cartoonish enough to appeal to the boob-tube dipsquats. I don’t even know this guy’s politics but, someone like “The Rock” (don’t laugh, it’s what gets us complacent/underestimating the enemy). Seriously, Ronald Reagan, Palin and TFG were all actors and clowns that were bought on sight by the twits. So, why not a “good guy” who can appeal on that level? …. these are dire times that call for out-of-the-box solutions (not second amendment ones).

Arnold has been putting the word out. I don’t see where anyone has picked it up except those who are already aware of what he has been warning against.
For example (kind of long, but he’s an actor, too)

    • The problem is, Dems aren’t into cults of personality. Possibly the closest we come are the Bernie Bros and Bernie Sanders has been a solid, competent politcian for decades, and a good team worker.

We live in reality and try to work to make things better..

They live in their fantasy world of Big Strong Daddy Come To Fix Everything and Defeat The Evil Enemy.

That plays so much better for the corrupt political “press” so they sabotage our side for the sake of entertainment.

The Caesar Flickermans of Politico and their ilk will always choose to glorify the the Entertainers and the rivers of blood that flow in their wake..

Because the Ceasar Flickermans are certain the leopards would never, ever eat their faces, after all! They’re important! They’re the Voice of the people, right?

Now the Entertainers have riled up the base to bloodlust levels, and the Ceasar Flickermans don’t see the tide coming for them.

      • Perhaps I need to watch “The Hunger Games”. ha ha
I think the even deeper problem is Dems aren’t into saving their own asses. Democracy may fail because the good-guys were too busy admiring their own reflections/virtues and being smug about how much better they are.
Gerrymandering, filibuster, indicting TFG, etc. and so on – all failed opportunities to turn tables at (and on) the deplorable’s own game(s).
Time to roll up the sleeves, open a can of spinach/whoop-ass and own our collective strength.

    Your last paragraph x2. Yikes.

There is a lot of discussion in that article about what threats are “real” and actionable. Also discussion on really low prosecution rates for actionable threats. Implications of lowly workers getting less (or more) protection from threateners. Some of that might be that actual congressmen get official protection that election workers don’t, so there’s the rationale for more prosecution.
Looks like the rates are pretty similar to domestic violence protections.
