Cult of Personality Rips Off Cultists, Again

Trump, in the key of f-u.

I don’t know how Republicans feel (or even if they do feel), but if I were one and I donated to the RNC, I’m pretty sure I would be pissed:

“The Republican National Committee has agreed to cover up to $1.6 million of Donald Trump’s personal legal bills, in an unusual arrangement under which the party is paying to defend the former president from ongoing investigations that focus on his private business practices.”

Paying the PERSONAL legal bills of an alleged billionaire who got caught ripping off the taxpayers seems like a step beyond, but it is a cult of personality.

You can tell his supporters to go fuck themselves, but he got there first.

    an unusual arrangement

Think of it as insurance. Along the lines of “Nice party you have here, shame if anything happens to it”.

Shouldn’t Trump have to declare and pay taxes on those payments on his behalf?

Good point. Pretty sure it counts as income, just like those cars and apartments and things that certain special Trump Enterprises employees were compensated with.
