Pandemic Going According To Republican’s Plan, Whatever The Plan Is

Business must be good for Vanky:

“As the coronavirus pandemic approaches the end of a second year, the United States stands on the cusp of surpassing 800,000 deaths from the virus, and no group has suffered more than older Americans. All along, older people have been known to be more vulnerable, but the scale of loss is only now coming into full view.”

“Seventy-five percent of people who have died of the virus in the United States — or about 600,000 of the nearly 800,000 who have perished so far — have been 65 or older. One in 100 older Americans has died from the virus. For people younger than 65, that ratio is closer to 1 in 1,400.”

The thing that is so shocking about this is that much of the deaths could have been avoided if these Olds had turned off Fox News. I don’t understand why Red State Governors see the Trump-Virus running wild and mowing down their constituents as a good thing.

I understand the Rethugs are insane, I mean how else could they believe all the crap that came from TFG. This “die to own the liberal’s” stuff seems to be just more of the same.
I can only hope it leads to a permanent minority for them. They get ideas that they are a leading edge and then they do bad stuff. Like the Supreme court now.

Well, it meshes perfectly with the Republican ‘kill all the old people off’ Health Care Plan.

  3. We get to put up with state senators from other parts of the state suing us because she doesn’t like our county vaxx mandate because it’s nit solicitous enough of the jail screws corrections officer’s delicate religious feefees

I fail to see a connection between corrections officers getting vaccinated and prisoners escaping. How’d she box that particular rock?

      • “OOGABOOGA!”, I’m guessing, because none of that made any sense.

Also, the County’s mandate is by January 5th or so. Here in Tucson it was set as ‘vaxxed by December 2nd or fired’, and by that time we ended up firing every cop and fireman, thousands, hundredschecks notes 39 people, of which only 12 were full-time permanent employees, the rest were temps or contractors.

There was no breakdown of what departments those 39 came from, only a note that they came from departments across the city.

Going to guess that the screws will wise up too, and decide that free shots are better then losing your income and pension.
