Some Things Never Change

Grifters Gotta Grift

Welcome to D.C.

Truth Social —Hair Füror’s latest social media grift— announced that its financing company Digital World Acquisition Corp. had raised $1 billion Ameros. What DWAC did not announce is just who-the-eff  those investors are, you know, who just bought a potential 2024 Goat Rodeo candidate and therefore a potential POTUS.

What if the Russian Usurper is now indebted to, oh, let’s say Vladimir Putin AGAIN, for example? See any conflicts? What about if it is Saudi’s Crown Prince Bone Saw, itching for another barbecue with a WaPo reporter?

Anyway, the Securities and Exchange Commission has begun investigating his latest grift, requesting information about DWAC’s communications with Trump ahead of their merger (which probably may have violated federal regulations) and “the identities of certain investors.”

In 2024 when/if Trump steals his way back into the White House (shudders), these buckets of bribes from person(s) unknown will make him a national security threat, redux. Some things never change

  1. Hmmm, a billion bucks for his new bidness and Putin’s picking fights with us; is it really surreptitious interference in American Politics if they’re doing it right out in the open?

The cynic in me tells me that if TFG were still King Ukraine would be part of Russia by now and his minions would be perfectly fine with that.

I’m no federal prosecutor or anything but I worked for Safeway when KKR took it private and we suddenly had the opportunity to invest in our jobs. Despite being a foolish young virgin at the time even I could see the classic pump and dump. Sure enough our wee common stock helped the big money boys’ walk away with their pockets a bulging but that common stock still came in handy lining a bird cage and wrapping household goods to stuff in the moving boxes.
This is that. Prove me wrong.
