Chillin’ with the gods
…as you ponder the works of Pythagoras of Samos (or perhaps you’re more in tune with Anaxagoras of Clazomenae), but we would be remiss if we didn’t let you know that our pal Burr Deming has his best of the web post up, complete with wry commentary!
You better see what he’s been up to.
(This post will remain on top and fresher posts —if any!— will be below today.)
This is how I pictured Mount Olympus to be when I first began reading the Classics.

All those women/goddesses are too skinny. That would never do in Old Ελλάδα.

It is kinda like if the CW ran a series with crime-fighting teenage gods or something.

I totally agree with Nan’s Notebook, men have no business trying to jam their fungus laden feet and toes into a women’s decisions about their health. Other than adding a law to outlaw any man from having an orgasm outside the act of procreation, and men would be responsible for saving and preserving all the unused sperm. The killing of millions of sperm equals life in prison. How about that a way to balance the books, as it were/is.

What about mandatory (and reversible) vasectomies on men, you know, until they learn to control themselves and prove that they are responsible enough to be fathers?
