Stupid Coup Investigation, Cont.

H/T Scissorhead Skinny-D

The House panel investigating the Stupid Coup will vote on pursuing contempt charges against former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark today. Clark, as you may recall, showed up to testify and then refused to answer questions based upon his claim of Hair Füror’s executive privilege. Hair Füror almost made Clark the acting AG because AG Rosen was not cooperating with the overthrow of democracy. Weird, innit?

Anyway, if approved by the panel, the recommendation of criminal contempt charges against Clark would go to the full House for a vote. If the House votes to hold Clark in contempt, the Justice Department would then decide whether to prosecute.

Then, someone will have to wake AG Merrick Garland and if he see’s his shadow, well…

  1. Garland will defend the apolitical impartiality of the DOJ to the end of the Republic, which stands to be about 3 years from now, the way things are going.

To bad this “Jeffery” Clark doesn’t have the Huge Hat of Impunity to see him thru, like a certain “Sheriff” Clarke.
