We’ll state it plainly: Just 10 months removed from Jan. 6, there is no collective political decency on Capitol Hill. Especially when one political party can’t or won’t police violent images by its own members.
Look, when Upchuck and his ilk use terms like Congress and Capitol Hill, they are deliberately obscuring the real actor. Collective decency is new to the mix, but notice that in what is his thesis statement he does not even say which party is responsible?
UPDATE 1: Sorry, Upchuck –
Kevin McCarthy suggests that Paul Gosar and Marjorie Taylor Greene should expect to be on committees if Republicans take the House majority.
“They’ll have committees,” he says. “They may have other committee assignments. They may have better committee assignments.”
