‘Oops,’ Said Faceberg (Part Infinity)

Conspiracy theories are now being floated by Facebook itself:

Maybe Faceberg can lift the whole “I’ll release the tax returns once the audit is concluded.”

In related news, Faceberg hisself seems to realize that the Facebook brand is toxic and is allegedly going to change the name of the company, you know because they do so much more than social media.

The coming name change, which CEO Mark Zuckerberg plans to talk about at the company’s annual Connect conference on October 28th, but could unveil sooner, is meant to signal the tech giant’s ambition to be known for more than social media and all the ills that entail. The rebrand would likely position the blue Facebook app as one of many products under a parent company overseeing groups like Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, and more. A spokesperson for Facebook declined to comment for this story.

Meanwhile, Rome is still burning, Nero.

If he’s taking suggestions, I propose “Facehack.” Sums up his mission perfectly.

The first one that occurred to me is Blackwater. I don’t think anyone’s using that one right now. I think Xe is out there now, too, since Blackwater, then Xe, became Academi. (Some grudges just don’t fade for me…)
