Krysten Sinema, the senator from the Terrible Sand Kingdom of Arizonastan and half of the obstruction duo, has left DC and is headed to Europe on a fund-raising tour:
“Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, the moderate Arizona Democrat who has objected to the size and scope of President Biden’s sweeping legislative agenda, has been trailed all over the country by progressive activists seeking to pressure her. They have followed her into a bathroom in Arizona, on an airplane and even to the Boston Marathon.
“But this week, with the Senate out of session, those activists would have had to travel even farther to press their case with Ms. Sinema in person — she’s in Europe on a fund-raising trip.”
Sorry Arizona, those pink wigs don’t buy themselves. But at least Sinema will be able to wow the kings and queens with her curtsey abilities.
U.S. political candidates may legally take donations from American citizens or from permanent residents of the United States wherever they happen to live, even if the money is raised overseas.
So… she’s leaving the country to fund-raise from Americans abroad.
The Anywhere But Here Tour continues anywhere but Arizona.

Seventy percent of prospective 2024 primary voters have a negative opinion of Sinema, with just 24% expressing a positive view of the first-term senator. Nearly half have a “very unfavorable” opinion. For contrast, 85% of primary voters have a favorable opinion of Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), who is also in his first term.
