   I saw the sign as being wildly inclusive, but as usual I got lectured on Twitter by a well-meaning liberal that I was othering the trans community.

   Those "funny" signs contribute to the othering of nonbinary and transgender people, by comically including aliens, monsters, etc.

   Better signs are those that center the function of the room (show toilet, sink).
