The AZ Republicans don’t want her (RINO at best, and why have her when they could have an actual, authentic fire-breathing wingnut), and her alleged coalition of Indies and Dems don’t want her if she fails.

She’s a moron if she thinks that there are more Center-Right Indies than GOP+Dem voters in AZ.

Your argument would carry more weight if it weren’t for the fact that she is a moron.

She gets assurances of loyalty if she switches and votes against the best interests of the country. She follows through on her promises (to them) and the R’s will primary her ass with an ammosexual.

      • Independents in Arizona are almost ALL just GOP voters who are ashamed to admit it in public. Sufficient numbers voted against Trump this time to make a difference, but they’ll turn on Dems in a heartbeat.

The rest are bone stoopid ‘all polertishuns are bad, vote ’em all out all the time’ morons, or GOP ratfuckers (AZ law permits ‘Independents’ to vote in any one party’s primary.)

Brucedesertrat you nailed it. Now, who can beat her in a primary and win the general?

    • Not entirely sure. Just about any Dem that ran would beat her in the primary, but 2024 is gonna be a crazy-ass election year. And if we get the shellacking we’re expecting in 2022, there may simply not BE an election in 2024.

There will be an “election” but we’ll have people like Mark FInchem as SoS here, he’d probably just preemptively decide that “Democrat Votes Don’t Count Sorry Not Sorry.” and fucking get away with it…

It doesn’t have to be a shellacking. That’s what the Republicans and their mouthpieces in the media are preemptively planting the minds of voters. It is not inevitable IF without any help from the Republicans the Biden Agenda passes and is a success. If the Democrats can impose party discipline and unity it can happen. If the Democrats can then get a couple of more Senate seats, then she and Manchin will become irrelevant or can be voted out without much cost. Or is that too much to hope for? We’ll see.
