Trump-Virus Breaks Century-Old Record!

Get ’em While You’re Cold!
(H/T: Scissorhead Purplehead)

I suppose this should shock us, but somehow it only seems inevitable:

COVID has killed about as many Americans as the 1918-19 flu

A century of medical and scientific advancements, and yet our confounded human nature has stayed the same or devolved: No one is gonna tell the know-nothings what to do!

“Big pockets of American society — and, worse, their leaders — have thrown this away,” medical historian Dr. Howard Markel of the University of Michigan said of the opportunity to vaccinate everyone eligible by now.

No d’uh. Thanks a lot Possum Hollar. You sure owned the Libs.

Like the Spanish flu, the coronavirus may never entirely disappear from our midst. Instead, scientists hope it becomes a mild seasonal bug as human immunity strengthens through vaccination and repeated infection. That could take time.

And so now we have to learn to live with it. Body bags are this seasons must-have fashion accessory.

We’re now at 11 times the body count of the Vietnam War, and fast approaching the death toll of the American Civil War. I really am tired of all this “winning.”

On the “WorldoMeter” site they crossed that total a week ago.
It’s been inevitable since TFG claimed that a death toll of (what wazzit, now…) 120,00 was a win.
It was baked into the cement when Fox was deemed too liberal and Newsmax and ONAN were spawned to spread more antivaxx bs.

  6. Ehh, not really because the population of the US was about a third of what it is today, so proportionally the Redstate Flu has a ways to go.
