The Stupid Coup Insurrection Commission Calling

“It’s for you!”
(Stolen from Dr. Zaius)

And now we know why the GOP was so unified to prevent a January 6 Stupid Coup investigation:

Jan. 6 investigation will seek phone records related to attack, including lawmakers

“…The phone records could shed light on a series of phone calls between Republican members of Congress and former President Donald Trump on Jan. 6. Both Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy spoke to Trump that day.

“Some panel members have said Jordan and other Republican members of Congress are akin to “material witnesses” to the insurrection.”

You better believe it, Bub. Imagine Gym Jordan under oath. The mind boggles with what would happen if he ever told the truth… about anything.

Remind me again. Whose idea was it to keep all phone records forever and ever? Although this does appear to be an unintended consequence, it was designed to ferret out criminals after all.

Not to mention traitor Paul Gosar and that overt, terrorist-supporting asshole from Alabama, Mo Brooks.

BTW, Gosar now restricts those who can comment on his Twitter Account to those he selects. It’s a closed-loop of crazy.

I really want to believe that all of the republicans involved along with fat nixon are prosecuted to some extent or another. But I’m afraid the elderly dim leadership will place the damning results of the investigation on a shelf somewhere in a closet within the DOJ and refer insurrectionists to a couple of sternly worded letters along with some finger-pointing that the worthless MSM will bury as a story worth repeating.

The effing Constitution is at stake and these fools are, um, what should we do, indicting a former president is a big step, even if he is a seditionist and mortal threat to the State. What’s an AG to do? It’s a puzzlement.
