This Exists

One hopes it is not a hands-on museum, BUT I bet the gift shop is huge.

Just remember folks, it’s very cold in Iceland so don’t expect much.

I had a friend who claimed his penis was in the Guinness book of world records, but then the librarian shushed him and told him to take it out. I’m fairly certain they bought a new copy…

    • I don’t believe that for a moment. All the librarians I’ve ever known would have slammed the book shut and taken it from him….

No lle. Librarians are scary, and everybody knows they are not confidential and safe. Because they rely on public funds, they can’t be trusted.

They loved those books more than life itself, and the Dewey Decimal System, but that goes without saying. Except when I’m saying it, of course.

  4. I …had to… https://phallus.is/en/ it is real, Oh so terribly, terribly real

    As to how it started…

…well my mother-in-law was once gifted (I rather suspect she was regifted 🙂 some potholders with geese on them, and as at the time she could use some potholders, had them hanging by her oven to use.

A friend of hers noticed, and thought “Oh, Peg likes geese!”. [cue the cocoanut telegraph]

Flash forward 5 years and Mom’s kitchen is, in her words, “full of goddamn goose shit”.

Note, at the time she lived in the Westchester suburbs along the Hudson river, home of [checks notes] eleventy gazillion temporary and permanent Canadian Geese in residence leaving gigantic goose shit everywhere.

(They damned near killed me once, as I was walking across the frozen parking lot at work and stepped on one; I will say that a large frozen goose turd on frozen asphalt is FAR more efficient at ass-over-teakettling than a mundane bananna peel.)

I was hoping there could be a little more. I was hoping you all could grow beyond your penis jokes.
I was hoping that you could be more serious. I am a human male with a penis.
That sucks, but at least i can still play with it.
Anyway, that is the feeling i get when i visit this place. The dogs are good.

I don’t see why i have to listen to this.

I wonder if when the idea for this museum was being discussed somebody said “Build it and they will come”?

They really should open new outlets. SF for sure would love one, probably Seattle too. They could franchise and get rich.

I see a potential for corporate sponsorship (this being America and all); KY Jelly, Viagra, Weyerhaueser Lumber, Oscar Mayer, etc.
