Gotta wonder if the knight comes with the purchase. I don’t get it though, why were the middle ages called the dark ages. Were there too many knights?

  5. Love how they star with “We used 40K+ bricks!”

Although stuck in a firetrap Northwestern Woods like that all brick would be a positive. I’ll wager the neighbors are quite happy that the trees obscure that, err, house.

It’s a little disappointing the wall in the great room aren’t lines with shields of his vanquished foes and his men-at-arms, and the portal consists oily of a double garage door. No iron gates, no moat.

Six hundred thou!? What is that, low-income housing?

Something like that in Bend would go for three mil plus …

It is north of Spokane, so it isn’t a high rent neighborhood. He might even have to truck in his own water, if not now then within a couple of years.

My family for many years had a “hunting cabin” on the east side of the river a bit “north of Spokane” ~ Ione ~ and now that you’ve mentioned it, OK, I can see it. Place was/is just packed with pretense. Might have a hard time selling it.

“Hunting cabin” is romance at best, was a ’40s silver trailer with attendant snowroof, “porch/patio”, carport, woodshed, outhouse, et al (not to mention meat-hooks and butcher tables). It was quite a sight, and being just off the highway quite visible. Was even mentioned in a fairly famous book.
