Well he also apparently got a red card penalty just before that, too.
But then this is the 3,768 – candidate California Recall Shitshow, so I’m also holding out for one or more getting arrested during the process, too.

Election nullification 2+ years after a decisive electoral win and with absolutely zero justification other than fuck you. Just got my ballot today and the least awful candidate appears to be Hollywod billboard personage Evangelyne. This fuckery chafes.

The advice I’ve read and that I would follow (if I was still there) is to vote NO on issue 1 and leave issue 2 blank.

That seems like a very bad idea to me. I understand Newsom not wanting people to think about replacements, but failing to designate an alternative could lead to Governor Elder. Designating somone, OTOH, is like an abbreviated version of ranked choice voting; if not Newsom, then at least someone other than the worst candidate.

If no one gets a majority on Q2, then it goes into a general election, in which case a Democrat can run and oppose.

The private investigator was asked to leave as if they actually needed to. I’m sure the artist formerly known as Bruce now regrets not participating in the debate.
