I need to see the Table of Contents and Index, uh, to see if anyone I know is listed. That’s it.

      I was only seven when the US started sending troops to Vietnam, and for a while, I thought we were at war with Russia, because when I heard reports on TV news, I thought the reporters were talking about “Soviet Nam” instead of “South Vietnam”.

    This reminded me of John Sayles’ story “At the Anarchists’ Convention,” where a guy goes around removing everyone’s name tags.

      When my “I’m on my first cup of coffee” brain first read through, I thought it said “At the Antichrists’ Convention,”. Is that the same thing?

    I was curious about the author so I got on the intertube googles to see what they said, kinda interesting; he was an academic and prolific writer who was a major figure in the American communist party and later became anti-communist.
