Nation Mourns: Sen. Paul Cannot Spread Misinformation For a Week

“Which dimension am I in today?”

Meanwhile, Schrödinger’s Senator, the physics paradox known in this dimension as Rand Paul, a man from the multiverse where anything is possible including being elected in the 2016 Goat Rodeo and being elected to the Senate or both or neither can happen at the same time or never, just got suspended from YouTube for spreading Trump-Virus misinformation:

WASHINGTON — YouTube suspended Sen. Rand Paul’s account on Tuesday for posting a video claiming cloth face masks are ineffective against the coronavirus.

Aquabuddha Strikes Back!

I guess he’ll have time to do his actual job of which we strangely pay his salary.

    I am speculating here.
Did Mr. Paul misrepresent or misinterpret the “peer reviewed articles” or were they peer reviewed articles from places on a par with Liberty U?

    • I remember some articles by people who weren’t biologists, testing the efficacy of cloth masks by seeing if things the size of a single coronavirus could go through. Amazingly, they can.

Now viruses aren’t transmitted that way, but there were a bunch of non-biologist hot takes at the beginning, some of which were entirely non-helpful because it did obscure actual valid work done by non-biologists regarding aerosol distribution of viruses, which was downplayed far too long by both WHO and the CDC (aerosol versus droplets; aerosol particles are vastly lighter, don’t fall out of the air as fast and travel farther than droplets.)

      (see )

but even the aerosols start as droplets when first emitted from respiratory tract and this is precisely the things that cloth masks stop most efficiently.

TFG killing the plan to have the Post Office send masks to every household in America probably helped kill a couple hundred thousand people. The CDC’s fuckup over mask guidance probably contributed to a hundred K more.

Wear a damned mask when you’re around other people outside of your home, was simple, easy to follow, and not yet politicized by the lunatics.

“They’re not perfect, but they’re the quickest and cheapest way to minimize transmission when you have to go out.” is ALL they ever had to say…

    • MDavis says:

“whether or not masks work – they do, different types work to different degrees”
I’m guessing this is what Mr. Paul cited in order to claim “2 peer reviewed articles saying cloth masks don’t work.” is a real, bona fide, totally not trolled thing.
Thanks, I wasn’t going to look for his stupid video anyway, but this video indicates that we have option number one – misrepresenting or misinterpreting the peer reviewed articles.

It’s amazing to see a grown man(?) make up obvious lies, not unlike yelling fire in a crowded theater, and then get nervy about being called out for his lies. Not exactly how a “representative” should act you might think.
His neighbor deserves a bigger medal.

Maybe it’s time for “Trump-Virus” to graduate to Trump Genocide.

Trump and the Retards are killing people to blame it on the democrats.

It’s a calculated campaign strategy, a clear and present danger to all of us.

I don’t ever want to hear the “9/11” excuse “why would they do that to their own people?” again. We are not their people. Even us old not-necessarily “liberal” …

I just read about Paul misrepresenting the Danish study <a href'””> here. The heart of the post: The authors of the study probably explained it best, writing that their findings “should not be used to conclude that a recommendation for everyone to wear masks in the community would not be effective in reducing SARS-CoV-2 infections, because the trial did not test the role of masks in source control of SARS-CoV-2 infection.” Translation: Don’t use this study to do what Rand Paul has been doing.

    And here’s a tasty tidbit – Mrs. Paul’s fishy stocks;

Somewhat off topic, but what the hell.
Like most conservatives, old mophead hair doesn’t smile or laugh very often. I wonder what that’s all about? Is it nature or nurture, I’ve wondered on many a midnight dreary.

I say give him a puppy or a kitten and see what happens, or have him hold a baby…maybe something wondrous will happen. You can never tell
