Whaddup, Mississippi?

The right to life ends at birth.

The Gret Stet of Mississippi a few years back passed a strict ban on abortions, making it illegal anytime after 15 weeks of pregnancy. So a woman who was raped would be forced to have her rapist’s babby because no one in Mississippi wants to make baby Jeebus cry.

Anyway, the intention was to give the state a case it could take to the Supreme Court in hopes of overturning that precedent.

Guess what?! Mississippi has asked the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, you know,  to protect its own law that would ban most abortions after just 15 weeks of pregnancy. The Court is expected to hear the case in fall of this year, and will issue its decision in June of next year, which will be in the middle of the 2022 Pie Fight.

Of course, all of this was inevitable ever since amply be-chinned Mitch McConnell stacked the courts with Hair Füror’s women-hating justices, up to and especially including Lifetime Golden Schlafly Winner, Justice Coathangers, er, Barret.

You know what would be cool? It would be cool to start an investigation into the Virgin Mayor of Keg City before this travesty starts. Just sayin’.

Those right-to-life peoples must really love the idea of the movie “The Matrix”: acres and acres of unmolested babies being incubated into slavery and no talk-back. A win-win it would seem. Don’t need no uppity wimen and their wimen’s problems, and especially them makin’ decision on their own. Caint have that now, can we?

While I was trying to be somewhat funny, it made me tired to type the above. Here is what I say to Mississippi: Leave those women alone. It is none of your fucking business, always and forever.
