Because We Love A Good Correction

Daily Deals with Wilbur Ross…zzz

Remember the other day how shocked America was that the DOJ declined to prosecute the 4th Reich’s Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross for lying to Congress, and everyone wondered what-the-eff was Garland thinking?

We owe AG Garland an apology as the story has been updated:

Correction: After publication of this story, the Justice Department and Commerce Department inspector general revealed additional information to indicate the declination to prosecute took place during the Trump administration. This story has been corrected to note this information.

I don’t know if Garland can now prosecute or not, and the article doesn’t say. Any legal types out there know the answer? In the comments, please!

  1. Well, since the DoJ seems to think that trying to overthrow the government is worthy of less time in the pokey than thinking that you’re allowed to vote in Texas when you’re not, Imma going with No.

And the Great Ratchet of the Overton Window emits another loud “CLACK-CLACK-CLACK” as “Crimes committed by High Government Officials in Past Administrations” become magically NotCrimeWeMustLookForwardNotBack.

Waiting for the DoJ to ask the death penalty for some Biden WH staffer who nicks a box of paperclips from the supply closet before prosecuting former TFG people for grand larceny and treason.

Just another example of how weak, ‘go along to get along’ centrist dims fail to hold morally bankrupt republicans accountable for their shitty, grifting actions for a fear of offending their wall st. masters along with an imaginary block of ‘independent’ voters who are woefully ignorant and likely vote republican.

    • “Independent” == “Republican embarrassed to admit to being a Republican”

Still votes faithfully for the Leopards Eating People’s Faces Party GQP, mind you, but only after complaining to all and sundry that the mean DIms are making them do that because we don’t respect their authoritah! views…

If I may quote from “Despicable Me”, “I hate that guy.” I hate him with those cans, I hate him when he is awake and when he is asleep. I hate him to sleep, it is better than sheep.

Of course I don’t really hate him, I wouldn’t waste the time, in real time. On the other hand…

    Peace and love to all…
