We are in a world of trouble, the Delta variant of the Trump-Virus is surging and the merde is hitting the fan as Possum Hollar —as a matter of Fox News orthodoxy— still refuses to be vaccinated.
In at least 46 states, the rates of new Trump-Virus cases this past week were at least 10 percent higher than the week before.
Unvaccinated fools are being hospitalized in alarming numbers. And while nearly all new coronavirus hospitalizations and deaths nationwide are among people who weren’t vaccinated, a steep rise in cases has prompted Los Angeles County health officials to reinstate an indoor mask mandate, regardless of vaccination status.
The County of Los Angeles is about 10M people. This is not a small sample. They don’t go Shields-Up, Mr. Sulu lightly.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta said that there are two types of Americans now: The vaccinated and the infected. If you’re not vaccinated you will eventually get infected. And if you get infected, you will get very sick and may die.

Yep QIB- at least now we have a little protection with our liberal vaccine. Let them live with the consequences- or die with the consequences as the case may be. I know, I know- they are breeding grounds for variants- but hell- let me have this for now.

I’m double pfizered and won’t go inside anywhere without a mask. I wear a camo hat to confuse the idiots. And I’m in Jersey with a 70 ish compliance rate. I worked in chemical labs for 30 years. Wearing a bleeping mask is no big deal!

What gets me are the ones who simultaneously claim that masks can’t stop the virus because it’s too small, but they also concentrate CO2 around your face.

Doesn’t Possum Hollar realize that NYC-based Fox News is a giant media corporation in a steel and glass tower filled with fancy coastal elite city folks who are ALL vaccinated? FOX is knowingly setting them up to die, but it’s the mean liberals who hurt their feelings by laughing at them.

It’s almost like the early eps of “The Walking Dead,” except the zombies didn’t turn until after the people passed. We have relatives, many elderly and some not-so-healthy, and also several young children, all planning on attending a family reunion at the end of this month. I was looking forward to it, too, but several say they’re not taking the vaccine, and that it’s their choice. But, they’re making the choice for me to not be able to attend; we are vaccinated, but our county is in Orange again, and I cannot be a person who makes an elderly or young loved one sick. We’ve lost several in this family to COVID-19 already, and I’m having a hard time not lashing out at the them for not getting their shots. Ah, well.

It’s hard Ali- to be more concerned for their well being than they are. I’ve become shockingly callous about it. I don’t hang around people who tell me they haven’t or aren’t going to be vaccinated. But if I don’t know- and they didn’t get vaxxed and catch something from me- well, that’s not really my fault now is it? They could get the vaccine- they chose not to get the jab- now they get to live or die with the results of that ill-advised decision. You are only responsible for you. They are responsible for themselves.
Think of it this way- if someone tells you they are never going to wear their seat belt because they don’t want to wear a seatbelt- should you stop driving on the off chance you might be involved in a collision with them? It’s a weak analogy- but you get my point.
Obviously I am not talking about people who can’t be vaccinated for what ever reason- I’m talking about people who choose to be unvaxxd because they are assholes.
