The most important former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs in our nation’s history, maybe ever and ousted 3rd-ranking GOP member of the House, Rep. Liz Cheney (R Blam-Blam) is quoted in yet another book coming out on the rise and fall of the 4th Reich in the age of The Stupid Coup:
“That f—— guy Jim Jordan. That son of a bitch. … While these maniacs are going through the place, I’m standing in the aisle and he said, ‘We need to get the ladies away from the aisle. Let me help you.’ I smacked his hand away and told him, ‘Get away from me. You f—— did this,’” Cheney reportedly told the general.
We note that this is (allegedly) the first time Gym Jordan ever offered help to anyone in danger.

I still want to know why any republicans ran and were afraid that day. Why didn’t they welcome the love fest crowd with open arms? Do they have any earthly idea what these videos of the ‘love fest’ are going to look like come midterms? They have forgotten how to govern. They no longer belong there. Idjits.

I will allege that he spotted one of the few Repub women and saw an opportunity to get the heck out of there by “helping” one of the good little ladies. No way he’d be able to sell that to voters if it was, say AOC standing in the aisle, but Liz would make a terrific human shield. He probably thinks that is the real reason she is there, anyway, to give the Repub boys cover for rolling back human rights for women. Another sort of human shield.
It seems to be a Repub theme. Remember the women and children at the Bundy Ranch standoff. Now there was a bunch of women who know why they’re on earth.

There was so much infantilizing of Lynne Cheney (!) going on there, I didn’t consider that he was using her as a human shield. Now THAT squares the circle: Gym Jordan is a coward, and always has been one. It makes sense and totally scans in character.
