Happy Hour News

Banana Republicans Worship Hair Füror

The only thing shocking in this poll is that the numbers are as low as they are:

U.S. Conservatives Are Uniquely Inclined Toward Right-Wing Authoritarianism Compared to Western Peers

  • A scale measuring propensity toward right-wing authoritarian tendencies found right-leaning Americans scored higher than their counterparts in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
  • 26% of the U.S. population qualified as highly right-wing authoritarian, Morning Consult research found, twice the share of the No. 2 countries, Canada and Australia.
  • The beliefs that voter fraud decided the 2020 election, that Capitol rioters were doing more to protect than undermine the government and that masks and vaccines are not pivotal to stopping COVID-19 were similarly prevalent among right-leaning Americans and those that scored high for right-wing authoritarianism.

We keep pointing out that the dead-enders are always around 27%; that was Chimpy McStagger’s final approval rating when his Reign of Error concluded with the global financial crash.

We keep saying it because the Coup Klux Klan keeps proving us right: Republican hate democracy, and they hate this country.

It stands to reason that 26% of Murkans also believe in Jewish Space Lazers. Kinda scary when you think about it.

Those 26 or 27%ers would probly be better off under an authoritarian system – they would have to do far less thinking for themselves.

They may be a small percentage, but man are they shouty.
I agree they’d do better in an authoritarian rule, hopefully, one where they are not allowed to be so shouty in public.
They don’t like our freedoms, they don’t even like free people. They just don’t fit in.

we3 – we can all thank Dawg that % is getting smaller, rather than larger. They’re making themselves more & more irrelevant by their yearning to revert to life in the 50s – the 1850s.

      Oh, and have a religious-based Gov’t.

Also, while I don’t wish the virus on anyone, their large conventions of uncovered and unvaccinated supporters should help that percentage shrink almost daily. The one good thing from this virus.

As long as the rest of us are successfully and highly vaccinated, then, yeah. I’m all for it.

It all comes out in scoops of the DNA gene pool.

27% (~25%) is one grandparent dosage.
half that (~12%, even 10, 13, 15% in situ), is one great-grandparent dosage. Such as homosexuality perhaps, what, 10-15%?

Conservatism dysfunction is associated with an abnormally high fear of death, and fear-filled living in general.
Abnormal fear feelings are associated with excess amygdala development (from DNA).

Some people are 8 ft. Some people are 4 ft. Most people are near normal. Mostly your sociopolitical conceptuality is in your gene pool scoop.
(The statistical bell curve is everywhere we look, and don’t the actuaries profit on it in the gambling houses of Insurance…. )
