(UPDATED) Reform the SCOTUS, Part Infinity

Your rapist’s baby is a future Patriot, ladies!

This is a bit of good news today:

Americans Still Oppose Overturning Roe v. Wade

  • Nearly six in 10 Americans do not want Roe v. Wade overturned
  • Republicans are closely split on reversing the landmark decision
  • Bans on early-term abortions fall short of U.S. public support

It’s a Gallop poll, so probably pretty reliable, but as we know John Roberts is only calling balls and strikes, and I’m sure the 6 members of Opus Dei will tighten their cilices, er,  conservative justices will go into whatever the latest abortion challenge is with their oath of office in their minds and their fingers crossed behind their backs (which is totally legal, I’m told, to avoid becoming liars). At any rate, the Justices seem immune from public pressure and answer to no one except the RNC. Oops!

Everyone (us included) has been so focused on saving our democracy that we have missed saving Justice. I don’t feel good about this.

This is what happens when one of the two political parties is willing to do anything, including burning down the country, to stay in power. The abortion issue is only an issue because the GOP needed to capture the christian voting block to stay in power. Thanks guys- we sure appreciate you trading in our democracy for a theocracy. Fucking amoral, power hungry, greedy Republicans. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I think you’re wrong about that. They are Republicans, the modern variety. The theocrat camo is just to keep that group riled up enough that they don’t stop to think. Makes it easier to pick their pockets if they are kept busy with this issue.
      Thanks a lot LBJ.

How about we settle for an even number of seats. Just add three seats, for example. Make it an even 12, like many jury panels.
So what if a decision is a tie. That just sends it back to the previous court, right?

Bill Barr is Opus Dei, as are the majority of Amy Covid Barrett’s ideologically stacked panel of non-elected vigilanties: Catholic Illuminatti. Graven-image worshipping baby-blood drinking clam-digging genocidal maniacs.

Gotta’ admire the stick to it tiveness …

So cocaine bitch mcconnell lays out the gauntlet after seeing the polling likelihood that he will become majority leader yet again since the dims are hamstrung by the media’s bullshit notion of ‘bipartisanship’ as well as Schumer failing to influence both manchin and sinema with enough pork for their third-world districts enough to pass Biden’s agenda through reconciliation that everyone on both sides favor. Maybe Schumer can send a strongly worded letter to his equally corrupt ‘friends on the other side of the aisle.’ Pathetic and tiresome

This pisses me off SO MUCH. Dems better get off their asses and put a stop to this bullshit from moscow mitch. I am thoroughly sick of his blocking blatantly every attempt the left makes…enough is enough.

Agreed. It is long past time to stop placating. I get that Biden sees himself as a healer. I need him and the rest of the Dems to understand we are long past needed to heal. We need to save our democracy. It’s time to get to work fixing this fucking mess.
