News That Will Drive You To Drink

Happy Hour News

The cow contemplates her existence and asks the Universe: “Who the eff is Devin Nunes?”

This is absurd (and totally in character for this idjits):

And then it gets interesting:

“His efforts to suppress critical speech are as well-publicized as they are unsuccessful,” Twitter’s lawyer John K. Roche, from the D.C. powerhouse firm Perkins Coie, notes in the motion, referring to Nunes. “He recently sued Twitter, attempting to hold it liable for speech by the parody Twitter accounts @DevinCow, @DevinNunesMom, @fireDevinNunes, and @DevinGrapes, and asking the court in that case to order Twitter to disclose information identifying those accounts. Each of these accounts were engaged in anonymous political speech critical of Congressman Nunes. That suit was dismissed against Twitter in June 2020 because Twitter cannot be liable for information originating with a third-party user of its service, but it appears to still be an active lawsuit against the Twitter users @DevinCow and @DevinNunesMom.”

Look, anytime you hear a Coup Klux Klanner whine about the Deep State coming after them, remind that their side tried to use the awesome power of the U.S. D.O.J. to go after an internet cow on behalf of a C- representative whose farm isn’t even in the state he represents.

Also: Wingnuts are not being censored by Twitter: they were trying to invade a user’s privacy because they didn’t like the Twitter-user’s political speech.

It is always good to remember that for members of the GOP: ‘Every accusation is a confession’. They learned a bit too well to ‘accuse your enemy of crimes you yourself are guilty of’.

ie: Baseless accusations of HK molesting children were made while members of the GOP were actively violating children.

Accusing the Dems of using the ‘deep state to go after enemies was just proof that the GOP was using public offices to persecute enemies.

Exactly right! I got that feeling about the GQP when they collectively began complaining about the ‘liberal agenda’ maybe as far back as the 80’s, I suspected they were the ones with an agenda.
