Given that she voted 93% of the time with Trump while he was in office, I’ve been a little suspicious regarding the purity of her motives for standing against him now, so I’ll bet you anything she’s going to spend the next three years building a base and support for herself as the savior of the Republican Party.

What does the garden-variety traditional conservative stand for? Small government? Low taxes? Balanced budge? When was the last time any Republican administration not expand the government, raise taxes on the middle class through regressive tax policy, or not blow up the deficit? Harding? Was it Warren G. Harding who grew the deficit by a measly 6%. Was he the last one? I think so.
Conservatism is a lie. This is not what they believe or do. The only thing conservatives have done consistently is transfer the wealth of the nation to the 1%, placated their voters by enacting racist policies, and kept their votes by promoting racial angst and animus.
Whatever rump Republican Party forms that will be their party line. They may support the peaceful transfer of office, which is the bare minimum, but otherwise they will be no different than Reagan or Dubya.
