And a 2024 Dark Goat Emerges: Chris Christie

Oh, dear.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is seriously considering running for president in 2024, three people familiar with his thinking tell Axios.

Driving the news: While Christie isn’t saying anything publicly about his thinking — besides telling radio host Hugh Hewitt he’s not ruling it out— people close to him have an early sense of the rationale and outlines of a potential candidacy.

The big picture: Absent another run by former President Trump, the field would be wide open.

“The big picture” – are they body shaming Christie?

Between the lines: Christie has a steep hill to climb if he does decide to run. In 2016, his candidacy got a walloping by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz as well as the unexpected, once-in-a-generation political phenomenon that was Trump.

Also once-in-a-generation: The Trump-Virus.

Axios’ rewriting of history is exactly proof that our Failed Political Press is not done with Lord Damp Nut. They want to set up a Clash of the Titans drama.

I usually don’t like to fat-shame (because I certainly don’t have any room to criticize), but man, he really makes it hard not to do so.

  6. It’s cute that he’s so fucking naive that he thinks 2024 is going to be a ‘normal’ Republican primary season with “normal” Republicans like him.

The base is already foaming at the mouth, fast zombie batshit insane, and they’re only going to get worse.

I present to you a Letter to the Editor that our local rag (nicknamed “The Red Star” by the conservaloons for it’s alleged far left stances) decided needed the wider exposure of publication:

    Ex-President Trump will be vindicated

So, two Democratic senators want to require all military personnel to have the vaccine. When did joining the military mean submitting one’s entire being, a puppet for the state, even relinquishing the right to determine what does and doesn’t go inside our bodies?

Democrats have relinquished all good sense, having not the slightest semblance remaining of logic or reason.

Through vaccination passports, voting changes, “military uniformity,” censorship, even court packing — eliminating all opposition — Democrats hope to establish their socialist takeover.

But they need to hear once again it isn’t going to happen. God controls this world. The United States is his nation, established by him, through people who loved and cherish our Creator, and we will not be moved or silenced.

Our faithfulness in having elected President Donald Trump will be recognized and rewarded. Donald Trump will yet be inaugurated into the presidency that is his. America will be preserved — with all the freedoms, justice, equality, harmony and brotherly love intended and given by our Divine Creator from the beginning.

As I’ve said, This nation can not endure half sane and half delusionally bugnuts.

If the writer actually believed what the wrote (to the editor) they should not be concerned with election results. If it’s all in Big-G-God’s hands, what the problem?
Also, don’t they have the faintest idea of what the military is about? I thought the military was pretty much where regulating what their members wore produced “uniform” as a description of the garb required.
      Also, too, wow.

“The Media (,Political, Failed) is trying to set us (America) up Dramatically to fail democracy.”

Exactly. The incivility among us is Media-made.
So Constitution preserves The Press explicitly, but not The Broadcasters. Which are different things. The former sells space, the latter sells time.

May I offer for your consideration an op-ed on the oldest News website (before Google, real reporters wrote and reported news, not aggregating links from other sites), founded by a famous 1980s reporter who broke the Iran-Contra missiles-for-hostages story, and Reagan/Bush treasons.

The opinion writer is of a like mind with mine, perhaps (slowly) an acquired taste.

In this she states that the Media entire IS the CIA and the CIA is become the Media wholly and totally. For your consideration …”the Media intends to set us up and knock us down.”

We’ve been fans of Consortium News and Robert Parry from way, way back. I believe he even visited us once or twice during Chimpy’s Reign of Error (he liked the comics I used to make based on his columns).

Since his passing a few years back, I have not been a regular at that site; I should probably see what they are up to.

Wow. Reminds me of the old saying about a lie can spread halfway around the world before the truth can put its pants on, I’m not sure the truth has ever managed to get its pants much above its knees.

But then if the truth DID get its pants all the way up – would it look anything like Chris Christie’s baseball britches?!
