Secretary Pete Detonates the GQP Bridge To Nowhere

Mayor Pete, er, Secretary Pete is pretty good at destroying the GQP’s talking points:

“If there are Senate Republicans who don’t agree, we can agree to disagree on what to call it. I’m still going to ask you to vote for it. To me, it makes no sense to say, ‘I would have been for broadband, but I’m against it because it’s not a bridge. I would have been for elder care, but I’m against it because it’s not a highway.’”

Good to see Pete actively stepping up and doing some counter-punching. I can’t remember anything Elaine Chao did or said as Sec.of Transportation, other than perhaps obligatory praise of TFG.

To be fair- she was just too busy- super busy filling the pockets of her family business- you know- just like TFG. Too busy to do any of the work the US Taxpayer was paying her to do.

I would be for democracy, but it’s not a bridge, and has nothing to do with infrastructure. Seems to be the perfect summary of the current GQP mantra…
